Why Now?

A lot of these stresses that a 20-something college-age woman are universal--those having to do with school, those having to do with working toward a future, and especially those having to do with relationships--especially when those go wrong.

A majority of people have been through a breakup, and the emotional toll that it takes on a person whose whole world is now shifting without any constants to hold onto is awful, especially when you are the type who needs a large locus of control to feel stable in life.

Kailyn is exactly this type of person herself, and she recently went through a break up that has certainly added to her emotional load. It’s led to a lot of angsty poetry, long nights in bed, and an intense obsession for watching comedy shows that can give her any reason to smile, even when they're so temporary.

In a world having been involved in a global pandemic for years now, it can feel like we are all stuck in time. Many people are experiencing loss, and this has led to relationships--the love shared between family and friends to be something we are both depending on and so scared of losing.  This show has something of all of that.

A breakup can be one thing, but Lindsay experiences so much more in her travels. She meets people who have loved and lost, and the perspective she is able to gain through it all teaches her a lot about love--both between others and for one's self.

When love is all we have, all we have is love.
